The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the joint admission process for a total of 23 Indian Institute of Technology campuses, 31 National Institute of Technology campuses, 25 Indian Institute of Information Technology campuses and 19 other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) based on the rank obtained by a student in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. MHT CET (or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a common state level entrance exam conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra every year for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses such as B. Tech/ B.E, Pharma D and B. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is administered by the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Mumbai for entry to the state’s first year Engineering and Technology (B.E / B. Tech) and Pharmacy (B. Pharm / PharmaD) courses. The courses offered through MHT CET are MBA, Engineering/Technology (B.E./B. Tech), and Pharmacy (B. Pharm/Pharm. D.) MHT CET 2021 syllabus includes four subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. The questions in MHT CET will be based on the syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Secondary Education (MSBSSE).

National Defense Academy (NDA) is a national level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year, to select candidates for Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA Earlier only male candidates could apply for the NDA exam, but the Supreme Court has recently released an interim order allowing women to take the exam.
